Dear Wilson School Families,

Greetings and welcome to the Wilson School PTO Webpage. Listed here you will find our officers, Committee Chairpersons, dates and times for this year's PTO meetings and Important Events to Remember! The Wilson PTO is an organization of volunteers that are dedicated to enhancing the school experiences of all of the students at Wilson School. We fund educational assemblies, supplement field trips, and host several fun events in the school throughout the year.

Our Box Tops for Education Program is an on-going fundraiser. Box Tops can be collected from a variety of products that are used daily, such as cereals, cake mixes, etc., and we are hoping that you encourage your family and friends to cut out and send in all Box Tops to school with your child.

The most important aspect of our website is to let all parents know about our

PTO Meetings, which are held on the second Wednesday of every month at

7:00 p.m. in the Auditorium. We realize that everyone has a sometimes hectic schedule, but it is so important for your child/children to see you taking a pro- active role in their education. Also, it is not too late to join the PTO for those families who have yet to do so. The yearly membership fee of $7.00 per family goes a long way in providing various events throughout the year, as well as assisting in offsetting the cost of the class trips. Additionally, and throughout the year, the PTO looks for assistance with certain committees, such as our Holiday Shop, Holiday Photos and other various fundraisers.

In closing, we would like to thank everyone who gives of themselves for the benefit of our children. By supporting our fundraising efforts or volunteering your time, you are making a positive contribution that will be noticed and valued by your children. Thank you and we hope to see you at our next meeting.

News and Events

This is just a reminder that the Wilson School parking lot is designated for vehicles belonging to our faculty members. Unfortunately our space is limited and we cannot provide visitor parking. When dropping your child off please remember that students must exit their vehicles in the drop off zone on Liberty Street only. For safety reasons parents are not permitted to park or drop off students in our parking lot or in front of the school's driveway. Often times there are students walking through the lot during and after arrival and dismissal time so the entrance and parking lot need to be free of moving cars while they are walking on school grounds.
